I get so fed up when fellow gamers behave entitled because they game on a certain platform

To start with, I am a PC player. Always have been and it is just my preferred platform to play games on, but I also have other consoles like switch, ps5 etc for exclusives and more "stay in bed" days. My partner is a console gamer and not gonna lie but sometimes I am jealous of him just being able to download something and go without fiddling with settings etc, but that's one of the benefits of consoles as well as better optimised games.

However saying all of this I absolutely hate the concept of console wars, especially when games are meant to unite us, yet some people (girls and boys) seem to be willing to rip each other apart over "superiority". I came across a thread the other day of a bunch of console girl gamers complaining about not being able to access mods on console and attacking those on pc how it is unfair and they are entitled to have mods on console as well because the game/s costed them more compared to the pc players (again debatable due to different editions of games or kickstarter campaigns). Like yeah gamers should have access to the same content, but it just blows my mind why they chose to attack other girl gamers and not have a go at the developer to actually implement the features they want.

Same applies to pc gamers with jokes of "thanks for the beta test", apoilering content or going into "my 3000£ pc is more powerful then your 500£ console and gives me 10 fps more!" Or bring upset because console ui is better.. It just feels so unnecessary especially since how long guys have been engaging in such topics, why should we allow ourselves to fight over such trivial things?
