Got2be glued w full lace cleanup?
Does anyone on here use got2be glued (yellow tube) for daily wear with a full lace system? I’m looking for maintenance tips.
I’ve been curious about trying this for a long time bc I like the idea of taking the system off at night and was hoping the system might last longer. I also like the idea of getting to wash my scalp daily, which I can’t if I’m doing my tape installs once a week.
Normally ive been using tape, and once a week I remove it with either walker lace release of c22. No matter how delicate I am with this method I still get hair pulled through the lace eventually, even in places where there was no tape used.
So far I am able to get a decent hold with the got2be, but I’m unsure what the best practices are for removing the unit at night and cleaning the flakey residue off. The product says it’s water resistant, so I’m worried that by using shampoo /lace release/alcohol daily to clean it will be bad for the system. It sounds like doing any of those methods will quickly damage the system and kill the lifespan of the unit.
So for anyone out there that uses got2be on full lace, what is your maintenance/cleaning routine like?
If it matters, I use a hairskeen unit.
(And for those looking to try this method, I found this YouTube video helpful: https://youtu.be/1qffjimtmj8?feature=shared )
