Moving near Statesville, NC

Im moving from PA and know nothing about the scene down there. I’m in my 30’s and need new NC friends, but it’s hard af to make new friends when you’re older and new to a place. Where are the shows? I’d love to start a band if anyone want to jam. Any info would be appreciated.
