Beginner at working with Hecate

Last night, I started on an alter for her. I spend a good amount of time talking to her, and even made a bracelet representing Hecate. Today, I went to dance practice and while we were doing one of the turns my bracelet cut my dance partner. I’m just confused as to why she cut him cause he’s actually a tolerable man and it’s hard for me to be friends with men. I mean I’m not justifying him cause I actually don’t know much about him personally. My first thought was he was spinning me too hard that it made it seem like he was hurting me? or maybe he has done some fucked up shit idk about? doesn’t have the best intentions towards me? Any suggestions?
