Thinking About Selling...
I have a VE Series II SV6 , it only gets driven these days on local trips to the cafe, plus maybe 50km on weekends at most. I love it but it's big and just doesn't suit my lifestyle. I think I'd rather something smaller and a bike for fun :)
SV6, 115000kms, perfect blue, sedan. Factory sat nav and sunroof (operates smoothly, no leaks). Wheels in great condition, just a few dings on the edges but 99% as-new condition. New genuine ECU 12 months ago, Bridgestone RE050 tyres have only had about 5000km put on them. Got the black headliner replaced about 2 years ago, they did an amazing job it looks stock. Otherwise in excellent condition, guy at Bridgestone that did the test drive said he doesn't see them with 100k kms in that condition any more! I bought it when it had about 40000km on it, it has been garaged at home and at work since then, so it hasn't suffered from a decade of harsh Aussie weather exposure. No mods, only thing I ever did was replace the plastic shifter with a genuine Holden leather stitched one. 3-4 months left on rego. If I had to point out any issues it would be one scratch a couple inches long on passenger door, and the front strut dust covers need replacing, which I've been told is not urgent and <$100 in parts just do it next time the wheels are off for rotating or whatever.
To sell, I can choose between around Campbelltown in Sydney where I live, or near Taree where my parents live. Bigger market here but maybe more people in the country who would just love to get their hands on a Commodore that doesn't have twice the km in great condition. What do you think?
Also welcome ideas on value. Would like to get a fair price but also a fairly quick sale. $13k?
Cheers :)
