Strange holes appearing

I found a couple holes (all of which are the same diameter of 7mm) after a brief holiday that weren’t there before. They are in my main bedroom with no visible holes on the other side (dining room). There is no reason for them to be there. A friend mentioned this subreddit for the question.

Does anyone know what it might be from?
