Bars and Nightlife For Singles?

I (32M) will be solo traveling to Hong Kong in early November and I'd like to hit up a bar or club and make new friends, whether locals or tourists or expats. It's more trying to break out of my introverted shell than anything. I can speak Cantonese and English fluently. Google is overwhelming me with tons of recommendations but it'd be nice to hear from a local too. A couple Reddit threads said the night life scene is pretty dead but a recent Twitch streamer went out with her friend in HK and it still seemed pretty lively. I wrote down the following:

• Bar: Draftland, Pontiac, Varga, Bar Leone, or Penicillin
• Club: Quality Goods Club, Faye, Mihn, or Iron Fairies
• Wander around Wan Chai, SoHo and LKF?
