Do you have to double-click to navigate through the dialogs as well?
I think this problem exists since version 2.2 or 2.3, I didn't mention it because I thought that "they will surely fix it for the next version".
First of all, I play on PC, I don't know if the problem also applies to mobiles.
The problem is the following: when you are reading dialogues, either in a scene or talking to an NPC, normally the game shows an indicator below the text to click and go to the next dialogue. The normal and expected behavior is that when you click, and the dialog has completely finished typing, the game moves to the next line, as in any game with lines of dialog, and this was the case until recent versions. However this is no longer the case.
Now, when a character finishes speaking and you click, nothing happens, until you click again and it goes to the next dialogue. It's as if there is a sort of second confirmation on every text, which is annoying. This second confirmation disappears if I wait at least 5s after the character finishes speaking, then the game does advance with a single click.
I tried recording the screen with some cursor highlighters to do the demonstration, but none of them worked in the game.
This started happening right after update 2.2 or 2.3, I don't remember specifically which one because I took it as a minor problem that would be fixed eventually, but we are on a new version and the persistent problem is starting to get frustrating.
