I got a speeding ticket today. Should I go to driving school?

I got a speeding ticket in Elmore County on the way to visit family (18 miles over the limit). I was gonna shop for car insurance because my current provider raised everyone's rate for no reason, and the last thing I need is a ticket fresh on my record. I heard driving school can keep it off my record? What does that entail? Can I take the course here in Huntsville?
