Activities to help hypotonia (children & adults)
Our LO is currently in physiotherapy for her hypotonia (cause not yet confirmed), and she started swimming lessons recently.
We have her sitting up on our laps, and in her high chair/bumbo, for a good portion of the day. Her head control and core are both fairly good and she can now sit without support for a few seconds at a time (almost 6 months!).
I’m planning on getting her into gymnastics, ballet and horse riding once she’s old enough.
Those with children with hypotonia, what else should we consider activity wise to help our baby on this journey at this age? And adults with hypotonia, what do you do to help your muscle tone, and what did your parents do for you?
