is pipe bending disappearing from the trade?
2nd year apprentice here.
I heard a seasoned journeyman say that pipe bending is going away. It's not "cost effective" and is going to all be replaced by MC eventually. Years ago they bent much more pipe, he said.
That made me depressed because I don't just want to be an MC slinger. I enjoy the artistry and problem solving attributes of running conduit.
Thoughts?
