Insta 360 go 3 question

Hey yall, i just got my go 3 today with the action pod for 240 at a pawn shop today, i was wondering if i can buy the go 3s standalone camera and use it interchangeably, after the firmware update or do i have to get another action pod? i was wondering if i could just swap buy the 3s camera and use both at the same time, and use the go 3 action pod to offload files and charge both cameras
