need some advice as a cat owner

so I got this cat a while back, he's 5 to 6 months old now and I enjoy every damn second I spend with him. The only problem is that me and my mom aren't home from like 12 to 8 pm everyday and obv he gets really lonely.

I'm looking to adopt another one but not sure if the new one and him are gonna get along well as I've only seen him act aggresive towards stray cats like yk the ones that just randomly roam around outside ur house. He's lovess to play around lekin ab ghar koi ni hota to i'd definitely love to get him some company.
