My post about dating in your 30s in islamabad went Viral

So, my post on the main Islamabad channel went viral to the point where i had to take it down. I asked, how does anyone even date here, especially in your 30s guys in islamabad are really weird…The response? A flood of DMs—mostly from teens and tweeps (why??)

The flood of DMs was filled with everything from unsolicited advice to downright disgusting messages from men trying to prove some kind of point. A lot of “nice guys” showed up—you know the type. And honestly, it just made me want to crawl back into my cave and never look at another man again.

Meanwhile, here I am scrolling through posts on Reddit, and all I see are guys whining about what’s wrong with women. Let me ask this: what is wrong with most of you? The entitlement, the lack of effort, the inability to respect boundaries—this is why women are saying “no, thanks bhai”

Anyway, I don’t have solutions—just vibes. If you’re dating in pakistan in general, especially in your 30s as a woman, just know: you’re not alone. We’re all here, yelling into the void, hoping for a sliver of sanity in a sea of cringe.

P.S. To the “nice guys” who’ll inevitably show up in the comments: don’t. We’ve seen it all before.
