Is there any good western made JRPGs?

I'm not talking about western RPGs that are just turn-based, because that's not necessarily a uniquely JRPG aspect. I'm curious if there are western made video games that were inspired by JRPGs in the same way Avatar The Last Airbender was inspired by anime, that it's basically a western made anime for example.
