Should I wait to get Tickets?

I’ve been looking for months now and want a trip from Connecticut to Osaka and Tokyo to Connecticut. I’ve seen the prices go up by $150. My trip would be in mid May. Should I wait longer or just cut my losses and buy tickets now?
