Assassins in the Jungle role

I am not writing this post to rant about how weak assassins are but just wanted to discuss are assassins meant to be played in the jungle role.

Lets starts with discussing one-tricks. One-tricking is one the better suggested methods to climb elo. In this scope when you become a jungle assassin one-trick there will always be times when you have an enchanter support a less tanky semi bruser toplane plus you should never expect ADC or midlaners to be the engage or tank for the team. In such a situation playing an assassin who cant engage who cant start the fight in your own terms, isnt this just trolling your team ? Like if you played a bruser- tank like Vi or wukong who have solid engage with ults better for the team.

Some might say that split pushing can help but you cant always avoid teamfights at some point. Specially in this teamfight meta fighters cum tank junglers are the best. Even when we look at playrate data it can be seen that for a long time junglers like lee sin which can build bruiser are always the top five played junglers. This can be somewhat attributed to him being very versatile. He can tank, he can damage, he can peel and he can engage and most importantly hes fun.

Now, I understand the people play games to enjoy thats why even if bruiser- tanks are the best junglers in any game assassins will be played and are played even in suboptimal team comps in the jungle role.

But the question is still there. Are you trolling your team by going assassin perma in jungle role at times when there is a better bruiser-tank available to play? I wanted some of your thoughts on this.
