Does anyone remember this song from KEXP (c. 2011-12)?
I know it’s a long shot, but does anyone here by any chance remember this mysterious song I remember hearing on the radio once? This was circa 2011-12 and I was on a bus for a summer camp in Seattle, which was playing the radio station KEXP. From my memory, the song featured a bouncy electronic beat which was something mechanical and industrial in nature, but also subtle and etherial, similar to trance or deep house. Over this, a line was repeated, which from my memory went “We don’t want your (existence, resistance, intestines?) [unintelligible]”, with the part I missed being something I couldn’t decipher, possibly “or your glory”, definitely the same amount of syllables. The line was delivered all at once in the format “we don’t want your [x] or your [y]” on repeat. I was very bewildered and creeped out by the lyrics at the time and remember listening in as closely as I could to hear if that’s actually what the song was saying, and it very much seemed like “intestines” was what was being said, but the memory is now more clouded and etherial in my mind now. I remember that the instrumental was somewhat similar to around the world by daft punk, also similar was the way it seemed to repeat the same line. Does anyone have an experience with this same song, or am I confusing myself about some extremely obscure track that I likely misheard the lyrics for?
