Is my 50k offer normal out the gate?

Hey y'all, I recently received an offer from a job I was really hoping to land. Everything about the offer was solid except for the yearly salary at 50,000. Am I unreasonable to think this is really low for starting out? How do I negotiate closer to $65k with such a low starting point number?

What is the normal starting salary for an atty?

Background: I'm in the top 25% of my class on track to graduate cum laude. Journal and mock trial. Have more work experience than most law students I'd like to think (3 firms, 1.5 years).

Edit: sorry for clarification it is in criminal law, civil litigation, and an opportunity to get involved in the real estate market (title work). Location is northern Colorado and is two person firm doing very well financially.
