Fitbit for phed

I’m taking a 3 wk mini in May for PHED 1164, and I know we’re supposed to get a Fitbit or smart watch. Has anyone taken the course know if it needs to be a specific one? Because I’ve been wanting to get one anyway, or should I just wait? Thanks!
