Help with a m43 hiking setup

Update 2: I went with the em1.2 and the 12-100 in the end the em1.2 seemed the better value and was the cheaper, the ruggedness I got sold on and I picked the 12-100 cause even though the 12-200 seemed interesting I’ve read raving reviews and your opinions here of the 100 and of even people that cropped it 2x and got similar results to the 200.

Thank you all so much for your help, hopefully soon some photos of mine will crop up here on the sub :)

Update:
Right now i'm in between an oly m1.2 with the 12 to 200 or the g9 with 100-300 and the 14mm f/2.5 they are both in the same price range +- £100 elp me

Posted it in the monday thread then realised it was from last monday so making it as a post.

Hello,

I'm getting ready for a month long thru hike of the welsh coastal path (uk) and i'm thinking of getting myself a m43 camera and 2 lenses to bring with me.

The main reason i'm thinking of doing that instead of bringing my xt-3 and glass comes mainly down to size and weight vs reach.

I love the xt-3 and its dials and the lenses I've got but since I enjoy some birding, landscape and wildlife photography even bringing the 18-135 and 70-300 or the 35 and the 75-300 puts me closer to 2kg than the 1/ 1.5 i'd like to be at.

I don't really shoot video much so I'm not too interested in that.

Weather sealing would be essential since it is wales...

The more rugged the better since it will be out and about for a month.

I would not bring a tripod if possible other than an ultrapod for weight considerations.

Since there is a good chance of it getting a bit beaten up i'm looking to get everything used and budget is a concern i'd rather stay around the £1000 than £1500 if possible (the g9 seems a good deal atm but worried about af).

In terms of lenses I think I'd like a pancake wide angle prime and a telephoto zoom like the 70-300 which is incredibly around half a kg.

I have never used m43 and after a week of research i'm still not closer to make a decision so I thought I'd ask you on here.

Thank you so much in advance.
