Layered armor can't be saved to a specific Equipment loadout

So, the way the saved layered armor system works kind of sucks. You can save multiple different loadouts which is cool, but the problem is, you can't save it to a specific equipment build if you want to change to a different layered armor with ease. You have to keep going back to the Layered armor section to switch to a different one (unless I'm missing a way to do it?). I hope this gets looked at in a title update and changed.
