Bad Experience/Wasted Money
I recently purchased a Bissell Little Green portable carpet cleaner at the Monroeville, Pennsylvania Mac.Bid location. When I picked it up it was "open box" which hadn't been disclosed in the posting. Okay, no problem. It was a few days later when I opened it and discovered that the cleaning solution and nozzle attachments were missing. Since I'd purchased Buyers Assurance I contacted their customer service. Per their policy, I had only until the next day to return it. No one from customer service responded to my email until a couple of hours before closing the following day (which was last day for return). I explained that I was not able to get there by closing time due to my work schedule. Too bad. . . Eventually I found a nozzle that fit on the hose and purchased cleaning solution. Yea, I was back in business! Today I planned to clean the upholstery on two chairs and when I took out the tank to add the cleaning solution and water there was some water in the tank. Well, it wasn't advertised as used but no problem, I could still use it. Wrong!!! When I had it all set up and ready to go I plugged it in and it doesn't turn on 😡. I am beyond angry and am told that I have no recourse! However, I did file a complaint with the BBB. Don't know that it will help me but at least it may help someone else.
