Can you guys rate your work life balance level working in either finance or banking?

I am thinking to move out from my current company- in banking industry. They love to have this culture of meeting after work hours at 2200-2300hrs. It was random, and we got to know about the meeting, say maybe after lunch or even 5mins before work hours about to end. I have heard how big companies like big4 also kind of have the same thing, which you will need to stay back for a longer hours.

Are there companies out there who have a good pay with a good wlb as well?
