Why the hate on Hawkeye?

Eveeyoney I talk to or any posti see Hawkeye mentioned, there's nothing good people say about him. everyone pulls out the "Oh he just shoots a bow" but, for me he's a normal dude who earned a spot on the Avengers and not to mention he's very loyal? Idk what are your guys views on this?
