Diamond purchases in USA after ban ..

Ok so I had a question about this. Obviously we know the game is banned in USA now. Using a vpn to log In still shows in the diamonds shop as unable to purchase (no prices) . Here’s my question…. If I set the App Store region as a different one ( Apple iOS here ) and even use a vpn. Would I be able to purchase diamonds ? I even tried using a third party site ( codashop ) and it won’t allow it (says game is under maintenance) I just need to get some diamonds in order to get the aurora skin. Any advice is greatly appreciated on how I would be able to get diamonds ! Thanks !
