Did you take your kids out while potty training?

We are in the midst of potty training our 20 month old daughter. She only has one or two accidents a day but that's because we stay home and put her on the toilet regularly. She doesn't tell us when she needs to go potty except for once or twice.

Did you take your kids out and about at this stage? If so, what did you do? We're going stir crazy after not leaving the house for about 5 days but I'm so nervous about her having an accident somewhere. Obviously I'll be prepared with a travel potty, folding potty seat, and cleaning supplies, but I'm still weary. Is it best to only do outdoor activities for the time being? Any stories about accidents in a store or at a playground? Thanks in advance.
