Why my SoS seems to be ignored ?

Hey everyone, happy hunting for all! I come here to ask a simple question but something that concerns me, I always shoot my SOS flare but I never receive an answer, I don't know if it's me or for that case the games is a lil bit dead cause i tried bringing help in my hunts but I always end up carting 3 times and no SOS answer
