$2,400 in tickets on Gainsborough near Cabin John Middle

I’ve heard from a Cabin John Middle School parent on Gainsborough/ Bells Mill Road that in the past month or so, they’ve been sent multiple speeding tickets that amounts to about $2,400. Doesn’t MCDOT reduce such large tickets, or there is no cap? They’ve been using Gainsborough everyday and apparently the camera caught them speeding.
