I cant shoot literally no matter what

I cant shoot, ive tried everything. No i dont chuck contested shots, yes i do look at my player when i shoot but i cant seem to get it right and when i do one game in the next game 2k starts chopping or defence makes it so i dont get a perimeter shot the entire game and it just resets the process, i am at a complete loss
