Sickness

Hi all, I am a self employed Nanny in the UK.

I currently work for two families which makes up full time work, as I am new to self employment I haven’t provided contracts to these families yet, we seem to be pretty straight forward and comfortable with each other.

Recently, I have found that one family tend to be sick quite often, which inevitably I catch but still come to work for them. However, the other family are strict if I am ill, understandably they don’t want their baby to catch it… but I am stuck in this cycle at the moment!

I can’t really afford to lose so much work so I am wondering what people do in these circumstances? If one family affects the other and my pay?
