GH in a nanny share
I need some guidance on GH as I move into my second year with a family and a new family joining our share. The past year I had sick days and paid holidays but no PTO or GH. Moving into this next year I want to advocate for myself to have GH. I’m a little confused how it might work in a share. If one family stays home but not the other would both family still pay the even split ($15/hr each family)? Additionally the people please/lack of self advocacy parts of me wants to ask for only 35 of the hours be GH. I work 42-45 hours a week and do receive OT pay. Starting in September with one family I will move to 40 hours and one family would stay at 42 hours. Thanks for you help :)
