Dupixent pros / cons long term?

My ENT says it's time to consider surgery again or dupixent. Aside from getting shots every 2 to 4 wks, are there any down sides to taking dupixent for years on end? Have any of u had side effects or stopped taking it a while and then started again? I'm hesitant to try yet another prescription but it sure would be nice to feel normal and smell things again..samters triad here too. Thx.
