7 months old cries when we try to feed him

A week ago, our baby started screaming whenever we tried to give him a bottle. He can go up to 5 hours without feeding—even when he’s very hungry, he still refuses to take any formula or milk. We’ve had to force-feed him because we don’t have any other choice.

We took him to the pediatrician, and after a thorough check-up, they didn’t find anything concerning. They recommended trying a sippy cup or switching bottles, but neither has helped.

He isn’t teething, and we’re at a loss as to what’s going on. He’s never been a fussy baby and has never screamed at night before.
