Nikon Z8 questions regarding must have accessoires

Hi All,

I have stepped up my game and joined the Nikon camp :-D Trade in my Old Canon EOS 450D for a Nikon Z8 with a 24-120mm F4. Only downside so far is the battery draining way faster than expected.

So my questions are:

• What is a good replacement battery (value for money). Are there thirtparty batteries that are reliable?
• I do not own and never had any quick release systems. Now i am planning to go out more, what would be smart for hiking? I a tripod and a gorilla pod and i like the possibility to have the camera snapped on my backpack instead of the strap.
• Is the 4-120mm F4 objective ready for magnetic filters or do i need an adapter ring first?

And then there are so many new options to explore :D

Update 06-09: Today i ordered some accessoires based on your suggestions:

• 77mm Hoya UV filter (Not magnetic) so the lens is protected.

• 2x SMALLRIG EN-EL15C. They are almost the same capacity wise (advertise with a bit more, but that is yet to be seen). I like the USB-C charching option on those. (In conjunction with a powerbank)

• Capture clip of Peak design with the Peak Design Dual Plate - RC2 & Arca for future versatility

• Viltrox DG-Z Extension Tubes 12 mm + 24 mm for marcro. For now this is withing budget, maybe in the far future i will get a 105mm macro.
