Best formatting for notes?

HI there. I've been using Obsidian for a while and have purchased a few books to help me figure out the best way to take notes. I'm about to get surgery to my dominant side and want to work on arranging my notes during the recovery period. I'll also be doing a lot of reading and dictating the notes during the long recovery. Here are a few questions I have:

  • Capitalization of notes: When you create a new note, it always capitalizes it. Is this the best way to go about it? I know when a note is linked in text of another note, it seems a bit annoying to suddenly read a capitalization of a word that wouldn't otherwise be capitalized in a normal sentence. That's one reason I can think to not capitalize notes unless they're proper nouns. I can't seem to find an option in settings not to auto-capitalize each note. I'd also like the title of the note to just be blank rather than have to delete "Untitled." Your thoughts?
  • Folders vs freeform: I was putting my notes in folders, but frankly, it's become a lot of work. I now have a bunch of folders with notes, but when I'm reading and taking a lot of notes, it feels like a lot of extra work to put them in folders. Does anyone here have a LOT of notes and not use folders? Do you think folders are the way to go, or are you happy without folders. Why? Thank you
  • Interconnection of notes: Newbie question. I've been seeing your fancy graphs, and my stuff is just a bunch of individual notes floating around by themselves. Is this simply due to not doing much linking to other notes within notes? I'm an early user and don't have much content yet, but I will be doing a lot of linking within notes as I'm reading mostly about science and philosophy during recovery.
