Does it get better?

Hi, English is not my first language so I’ll try to make it as clear as possibile.

I’m a first time reader and I’m now at Punk Hazard. I read the whole thing pretty fast until I reached Fishman Island, which got me stuck for 3 months because I found it boring and wasn’t interested in the storyline at all - I just wanted to move on with the main plot. I’m now at Punk Hazard and again, I’m struggling. I don’t want to quit reading because I’ve always loved One Piece - cannot even describe the feelings and the emotions I felt while reading the Alabasta Arc, then Water 7, Enies Lobby, Impel Down and the incredible Marineford. I know that One Piece is a huge series and that it’s normal to be inconsistent with quality, but I just want to know 2 things: 1) Does the storyline get better after Punk Hazard? Does it get more interesting and does the main plot significantly move on? (No spoilers of course) 2) Will there ever be arcs or moments as good as those I mentioned above? Enies Lobby, Impel Down, Marineford like?
