4-0 Katakuri at local tournament

I know a lot of people hate yellow, but I thought I’d share anyway. I went almost three months without playing any tournament and have not updated my deck since OP08. I thought it was interesting how strong Katakuri can still be even after playing against current strong meta decks.

Game 1 was against Black Lucci and it was pretty straight forward, having to try to go for life every turn. Game 2 was against Blue Doffy and that game was tough, but prioritized clearing board and stalling for late game. Game 3 was against R/P Luffy and was the toughest. I should probably have lost that one but got lucky with triggering two 0 cost life during opponent’s would-be game ending turn. I also used three Soul Pocus early to me help stay in the game longer. Game 4 was against Purple Luffy and I managed to bring out three Kikunojos by late game which helped me to keep swinging 6k to life. It was pretty close though as I had just enough counter during opponent’s last swing.

I suppose I was lucky that I didn’t play against a Blackbeard though, that deck just kills all my on plays. Anyway, it was lots of fun and thanks for reading.
