Worried about incense

This might be a stupid post to make. But I'm very nervous about the intake of incense at all the services I go to. Cuz I'm technically inhaling smoke. And I've always been scared of getting sick from second hand smoke from cigarettes, and I'm wondering if incense would do the same thing?
