Can’t buy gold gun despite having enough points?

anyone know what’s going on? i’ve 3265 competitive points but the game won’t allow me to buy the gold weapon variant. i go through the screen and click “unlock” but nothing happens. the jade weapon option shows a different menu option where it can only be purchased with comp points but i don’t want to risk trying to buy the jade and be stuck with the variant i don’t want lol
