Will PalEdit get me banned by anti-cheat?

I have used it a couple of times for some cosmetic changes, like changing a pal from female to male, and making one into an alpha that wasn't before. With the continuously strengthening (apparently) anticheat however I'm concerned that I will be banned if I start a private server with a friend so just me and them can play together and connect to it with the edited pals.
