At a loss as a UK user

I (UK Pi holder) have loaded up my exchange which up until today seemed fine, I have placed around 12% of my coins into this exchange in preparation for today. Regional issues being flagged and I'm essentially blocked from anything.

I contacted support and was told to change my IP address to an eligible country but having tried various countries through a VPN I still get the same error message.

Does anyone know what we should do as UK holders of Pi coin? I feel a little bit stuck with zero path forward? Have I wasted 5 years? Have I just essentially lost that 12% if this never changes?
