Best strategy for countering excellent body bagger?

In my circle of pickleball acquaintences there's an older gentleman who is quite good, and who is also a demonically good chicken-wing body bagger. If my partner serves up a dead dink, or anything that bounces reasonably high, I know I'm getting a fast speedup to the upper right shoulder.

I've been working on my hand speed quite a bit and I'm now blocking maybe 1 in 4 but I obviously want to do better. I'm currently trying getting really low and shading towards my forehand in my ready position, but I guess I figured I'd go to the experts here to get some ideas.

Just to be clear, I have no ill feelings towards this gentleman. He's a good player using a shot he's worked to develop and that pays off. It's just become one of my pickleball life missions to figure out how to counter it. :)

If it makes any difference, I'm about a 4.0-4.25.

TIA
