Hair wash with pus in ear piercing???

It's been more than a year that I got my upper lobes pierced but idk how now I am having pus in the piercings??( I recently changed earrings, could that be the reason??) First it was only the left ear (pus) and when that's healing I got it in my right ear too. I haven't washed my hair for so long now I can't wait anymore. Pls help how to wash my hair???
