Working in Hospitality

Hello everyone,

Moving to Lisbon for 6 months over the summer, just looking at jobs and accommodation.

Was planning on working part time in a bar and part time at a nice restaurant, but from what I am seeing the minimum wage is 7 euros an hour

I did the math and I think I would be able to live and enjoy my time if I was earning 10 euro per hour

My question is once I get to Lisbon, how likely is it I will be able to get a casual job that will pay me around 10 euro per hour. I am a 27 year old male, can speak fluent English, decent amount of Spanish and currently learning Portuguese

Any tips of recommendations on what I should do would be greatly appreciated

After receiving some backlash I would like to point out, I am on a page called "Expats", which I would assume to be digital nomads or westerners that have moved here to take advantage of low prices to live beyond what they could back home. Both of these groups are the main problem for gentrification. Not a single man wanting to work at a bar for 6 months and spend any money he makes back into the local economy

What's ironic is I posted the same question to a group called "Lisboa" which I would assume to be more locals, and everyone was very helpful and informative to my simple and innocent question
