Seeing Prison Break lately made me realise how much the judicial system in America has not changed.

I remember seeing the series long ago and when I was younger, it gave me a slice of truth about the judicial system in America even though yes, the series is very unrealistic

You have conspiracies, geniuses making prison breaks (hence the name) and prisoners having more neglect or lowe intelligence than certain protagonists.

But at the same time, the judicial system was presented in a manner that should not be present because of how ethical it is or politically corrupt or sensitive but they exist.

Racism, unlawful treatment, political conspiracies (similar to the many examples that were done by the CIA), brutality and lack of human decency and security in prison systems, corruption (political or otherwise), the over emphasis of security over everything else.

And seeing how the current situation is in America because of one person shocking the world because of one murder, it is no consequence that Prison Break is currently being shown again on Netflix in my region.

But I am assuming that this is not new news either but I guess, not living in America makes me feel a bit phased out of the reality of how the judicial system in America is not fair and brutality inefficient

Edit - if there are better shows to help me get a better understanding about this, I am all ears
