EPDM job - functional for now or have replaced immediately?

I had this done last week by a shady sub-contractor (not working with a roofing company; stupid I know but what's done is done). There is no option of having the work re-done competently at his cost; I will have to start over with another company. Can I get away with this for a year or two? Do I want to risk waiting for leaks to show up?

More info: Had two inspections after, one company said replace it now, the other said it seems fine and won't leak. Issues are of course all these wrinkles, and the seams I think are not sealed with whatever is normally recommended (there is primer all over them instead of nicely caulked/glued seams). There is also a huge area of ponding water about 3 inches deep; in the short-term I am more worried about the weight than leaks but I know it will affect the seams eventually. The area ponded before, which is what led to the replacement, but it is worse now.

I am a dummy new homeowner - obviously. Help appreciated.
