Website with similar names?

I've found two websites who sell similar items and I'm not sure if one is trying to pass itself off as the other. I can't find much information on it online, so I'm not sure if I should purchase from them. The website with more reviews is called Strangecattoys.com and the other is Strangecatoys.shop I'm worried that because the other is missing a T and it is originally in German, while the first one is in English and located in Florida. There's an item I want to buy from the one I am suspicious of but I don't want to get scammed and loose money because it is a rather large purchase. The first one doesn't have this item at all. What should I do to verify the website isn't a scam?
