Move from New England

Anyone move from New England to Seattle? I’m from Boston area and love it there, have also lived in CT and love Maine area. Will I be welcomed into Seattle? Have 2 younger kids and love outdoor culture. How was your transition?

Not worried about finances because we are now on Long Island temporarily (which we don’t like) and Boston is similar financially from my understanding.

Any tips? Where would you live with 2 kids either in the actual city or suburbs?
