what are the other MDR employees refining?

from the dependence on iMark to finish cold harbor, it doesn’t seem like the others were helping with that file. did they refine other files for gemma? were they refining other innies? or was it all just busy work to incentivize iMark (which presumably it was when they brought the team back per his demands)?
